April 4 2007 Summary

The results were Davies beat Merriott 20-0; with this they were the undefeated Champions of the Wiltshire Premier League and every congratulation to them. Bannister beat Willmott 20-0 and consolidated an excellent second spot. King beat Thackaberry 20-0 and by dint of other favourable results scraped into third place. Starr beat Samter 15-5 and continued their very good results which has brought them into fourth place - the season was obviously too short for them. Moody beat Miller 17-3 and Buck broke their duck by beating Baker 15-5

There were no slams, many game swings and a large number of hands that did not make because of adverse card holdings.

I would like to give all who participated many thanks for coming and enjoying the evenings of bridge and in particular those teams who on a few occasions had to rope in others to make up the numbers. I hope that you all enjoyed this seasons matches - it could always have gone better - and very much hope to see you all next year - which starts September 20th.
